The unique Biomotion lighting puts even the smallest moving legs in the spotlight, so that you are recognizable as a cyclist. Other road users are immediately alert.
How does the Ziemi work?
- Attach the holder to your stem. The Ziemi can be easily attached to any bicycle thanks to the universal click system.
- The Ziemi has two light settings; twilight and dark mode.
- The battery lasts two weeks with average use (half an hour per day).
- Check the battery status by pressing the on/off button for 2 seconds.

What is Biomotion?
Biomotion literally means human movement, like your legs moving while cycling. The brain recognizes this movement and becomes alert immediately.
A road user sees Biomotion and automatically thinks, "There's a person cycling, I have to pay attention!"

Ziemi does not illuminate the road ahead, but the cyclist's moving legs. This makes the Biomotion (your human movement) visible, which automatically makes other road users more attentive and careful.
With regular bicycle lights, it is important that the light has a wide beam angle in order to have a clear view of the road ahead. If such a bicycle light were to be reversed, it would not only result in blinding yourself, but it would also hinder other road users. Ziemi has been carefully designed to illuminate only the cyclist's moving legs.
We have tested and optimized Ziemi extensively. By using white and diffuse light, the moving legs are visible with every skin and trouser color. Sometimes a bit less bright, but the movement remains clearly visible.
Ziemi's housing is designed to focus the light exclusively on the cyclist's moving legs, then bounce back to the front and sides. This means that the white light is only visible from the front and sides, and not from the rear.
